Flop Strategy
(from Winning Low Limit Hold'em with some modifications)

Below are strategies for different situations on the flop. Certain situations it is usually better to go with the more aggressive approach, rather than slowplaying (depends on your table).

TWO OVERCARDS
When you flop nothing but TWO OVERCARDS to the board
- Call if you have backdoor draws (3 to a good/nut draw)
- Fold all other times

ONE PAIR
When you flop TOP PAIR w/Good Kicker
- Raise to eliminate drawing hands, as your hand is only a high pair and can easily become a medium to bad hand on the turn and river

When you flop TOP PAIR w/Medium to Bad Kicker
- Fold if there is a bet, unless there are lots of callers and no raise (or fear of raise)

When you flop SECOND or BOTTOM PAIR
- Fold if there is a bet, unless there are lots of callers AND an you have an overcard kicker

When you have a POCKET PAIR
- Raise if it is an over pair to the flop (similar to top pair)
- Fold if it is second or lower to the board, as you will most likely need trips to win (similar to second pair w/no kicker)

TWO PAIR
When you flop TOP TWO PAIR w/split cards (both from your hand)
- Raise to eliminate drawing hands and build the pot

When you flop SECOND or BOTTOM TWO PAIR w/split cards (both from your hand)
- Raise to eliminate drawing hands and build the pot, however watch out for re-raises as you don't have top pairs

When you flop TWO PAIR w/pair on board (one card from your hand is paired)
- Call, however watch out for re-raises, as someone may have trips

When you flop TWO PAIR w/pocket pair (pair in your hand, pair on board)
- Raise if you have an overpair to the board
- Fold if you have a pair lower than the board, as someone may have trips or two pair

THREE OF A KIND (TRIPS)
When you flop a SET w/pocket pair and one match on the board
- Raise to eliminate drawing hands and build the pot, watch for tricky flops where a straight or flush may already be made (3 suited or sequential cards)

When you flop TRIPS with a pair on the board
- Raise to eliminate drawing hands and build the pot, but take note of your kicker quality in case you showdown with the fourth of that rank

4 CARDS TO A STRAIGHT OR FLUSH
When you flop 2 CARDS TO YOUR DRAW w/two cards in your hand
- Raise if you are drawing to the NUT and you think people will call you're bet
- Call if you are drawing to less than the NUT or you think raising will eliminate too many players

When you flop 3 CARDS TO YOUR DRAW w/one card in your hand
- Raise if you have the NUT draw, as someone may have already made their hand
- Call or Fold if you have less than the NUT draw or you believe that someone has a made hand

COMPLETE HAND
When you flop a STRAIGHT
- Raise to eliminate better drawing hands and build the pot, most players won't believe you have the straight
- Slowplay (Check) if you have the NUT straight and there is no flush draw opportunity (all different suits)

When you flop a FLUSH
- Raise to eliminate better drawing hands and build the pot
- Slowplay (Check) if you have the NUT flush

When you flop a FULL HOUSE
- Slowplay unless you think you can be outdrawn (you have the lower rank of the full house), if so raise

When you flop QUADS or a STRAIGHT FLUSH
- Slowplay to allow players to draw and think they are in control
